How to Run the QuickBooks _Reboot.bat_ file
Reboot.bat is a batch file located in the QuickBooks program files folder that allows you to re-registerthe .DLL & .OCX files that are required by QuickBooks to function properly. When do you need to run the Reboot.bat file?

- Close QuickBooks Desktop.
- Go to the folder containing the reboot.bat file:
- Right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon on your desktop
- Click Properties.
- Click Open file location.
- Right-click the reboot.bat file & select Run as Administrator.
Important: Ensure to run reboot.bat as the Windows Administrator. Also, the file name might be reboot.bat or reboot as per your Windows Folder Options Settings.
- Command (DOS) window (black window) will appear
- Do not close this window manually.
- When the reboot.bat file utility has completed, the window automatically closes.
- Check if the issue is corrected now else;
- Restart your computer.
